Woodworkz
is run by Stuart MacLeod and David Rose. The
business is centred at Lochcarron, Wester Ross and Nairnside,
near Inverness.
In Lochcarron we have our milling and drying
operational base. There is
also a small but fully equipped workshop.
At
our Inverness base we have a large workshop
with storage for kiln dried timber and adequate space to take on
the most ambitious projects.
Woodworkz is now a member of the
Association of Scottish
Hardwood Sawmillers which comprises some 25 member
companies selling timber and products from bases in Scotland.
When ASHS is contacted the
members are informed of the enquiry and invited to respond.
Should a member be contacted directly with a query that cannot
be handled it is a simple process to pass it on so that the
potential customer receives a quick response.
When accepting commissions for cabinet-making C.A.D.
(computer aided design) is used to
produce a design quickly and accurately.
