The complete list of kiln dried timber is now on the new web site. All prices are ex VAT and ex works (Lochcarron). You will also see that there is complete list of our Hardwood Logs, in addition to some 20 tonne of good clean European Larch. We are hoping for this site to go live in a couple of weeks.
Just need to upload a few more pictures to a couple of the pages, update some words etc and away we go.
The kiln dried boards are priced at the mid range, as they have not been 'Appearance Graded' as yet. All new boards coming off the mill will from now on receive a different type of identification numbers, that will relate directly back to a log and a site, the back end of this web site will generate each new number, to maintain a full provenance of each piece. The origin sites of each of the existing board in the Dry Store have been listed.
Later on there will be a description of each board as well (ie double waney, shake, inclusion, etc) and a grading to the Forestry Commission Standards a full description of these can be found on line at Making the Grade.Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
